Founded by the Seabra family in 1989, Seabra’s Marisqueira has been a foundational part of the economic and cultural life of the Ironbound section of Newark, NJ. Since 2000, the legacy of their restaurant has been passed down to three individuals who began as dedicated employees and have now become proud owners: the Head Chef, Joaquim Fernandes, alongside Antonio Sousa, and Manuel Cerqueira.
